A Recipe Flop
I love traveling to research gastronomy, trends and new innovation, but I haven’t really had much success ‘inventing’ a new recipe. I’m more of a ‘stick to the classics, seasonality & respect the culture’ kind of chef.
I had an epiphany and tried to invent a summer recipe this week. To me, serving grilled lamb with a summer Salad of seasoned, ripe garden tomatoes, EVOO, vinegar and a little garlic with fresh rosemary seemed inspired. I thought I had created something special but It was like nibbling on a tomato Christmas tree!

FYI. Rosemary isn’t very good chopped up raw in a salad, I should have known better!
