Most Chefs love vegetables! I enjoy shopping at farmer’s markets, picking vegetables and fruits at farms and growing my own vegetables and fruits in my garden for inspiration.

It’s amazing to go into the garden and pick asparagus or squash blossoms or dig up sun chokes and prepare it for our dinner. I’ve been researching and studying gardening for years and having met great farmers like Farmer Jones at the Chef’s Garden in Ohio, Eliot Coleman at Four Seasons Farm in Maine and Ronnie Abrams in NJ, I’m ready to take it up a notch.  

I built a greenhouse and I’m going to begin studying propagation, building soil and just having a great time growing vegetables all winter long…. Excited to share my journey, as always.
